  • Type a place name and the world moves — a real relocation of the ground, not a camera jump.
  • Elevation decoded from open terrain tiles, with invalid pixels repaired by neighbour averaging rather than dropped to zero.
  • The same elevation model feeds the orbital view, so orbit and street agree about where the mountains are.
  • A runtime auditor checks that roads and props sit on the surface — not floating above it, not sunk into it.

Generated from the real footprint, honouring what the data actually says.

  • Roof shape, wall material and colour are honoured where the data provides them.
  • Roofs are built as solids by revolving a profile — flat, gabled, hipped, pyramidal, domed.
  • Two triangulators, one with hole bridging, so a courtyard stays a courtyard.
  • Building parts are read rather than discarded, so a tower with a distinct podium reads as one building.
  • Facade style resolves from era, climate zone, wall material and building form.
  • Screen-space-error driven level of detail, baked per chunk.

ROADS THAT FOLLOW THE GROUND.

Cut and fill, not blind draping.

  • Ribbon meshes follow the terrain through a bounded smoothing kernel.
  • Bridges and tunnels get real vertical placement and easing instead of being flattened into the hillside.
  • Lane markings, dash pattern and paint colour come from the same lane plan that drives the geometry.
